TMD (or TMJ) Disorder

The temporomandibular joint is often referred to by the initials TMJ. This joint hold together the temporal bone of the skull and the lower jaw. The disorder associated with this joint is called temporomandibular disorder (TMD). This disorder can have an effect on the entire skeletal system.
