Vestibular Migraine and Occipital Headaches: The Best Approach is not Medication.
Trigeminal Nervous System is key to 100% of headaches and migraines.
The standard medical approach considers this a migraine problem where it is frequently a posture and airway issue.
Occipital headaches are extremely common in patients with forward head posture. Forward head posture can independently lead to symptoms identical with vestibular migraine.
Forward head posture is also associated with TMJ or Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD). There is also a close association between small nasopharyngeal airways and TMJ disorders. All of the symptoms of Vestibular Migraine are commonly associated with TMJ disorders as well.

Severe Chronic Headache Patient Finds Relief with Sphenopalatine Ganglion Blocks
Gene has had severe chronic headaches that have been resistant to treatment for over 20 years. He drove in from Indiana. He has a history of TMJ disorders and severe wear of his dentition.
He came to Chicago for a consultation visit. He presented with moderate to severe headache and it could be demonstrated that the pain was exacerbated by pressure on Myofascial Trigger Points as defined by Dr Janet Travell.
Trigger point deactivation eliminated the headache. The was done utilizing Travell Spray and Stretch with Vapocoolant Spray confirm that much of the pain was referred from Myofascial Trigger points.
